Born and bred in England, I spent most of my life being asked by Londoners if I was "alright Luv?" and having lived in Sydney, Australia the phrase then changed to: "how's it going?" Now, I'm living in Singapore, still doing alright, or in Singlish "I'm okay Lah!"
