June 1999 - May 2001Extensive travelling around South East Asia and Australia; working holiday / freelance design / waitressing / shop management. Included six months in Malaysia, learning the language and culture, helping friends set up new business opportunities and working on yacht charters.
Contrasting experiences included visiting Japan and Cambodia. August 1998 - June 1999
Junior Art Director
Haygarth Design, Marketing Communications Agency Specialists in integrated marketing solutions, I created concepts for point-of-sale promotions, brochure and pack designs. Clients included Nokia, Topicana, RAC and BBC. I developed my knowledge of Freehand, PowerPoint, presentation skills and print and production training. Left to go travelling. |
